Returns and refund policy

Valusso Design LLC values strong relationships with our customers and we take pride in the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of the doors we sell. Attention to details in design, material, and construction is unyielding and so is our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, please contact your sales representative or call us (754) 900-5169.

  • All sales of non-custom orders such as doors and/or door parts can be canceled prior to the shipping prep stage and subject to our standard return policy including a 20% restocking fee.
  • All custom orders such as pre-hung doors, doors/units with pre-cur services and/or special order doors are final, and can be cancelled only within 2 (two) business days of placing the order and not refundable after 2-business days period of placing the order.

Additional cancellation fees may be assessed to cover any loss sustained by Valusso Design LLC.

45-Day Return Policy

If you would like to return an item that is new and unused, unopened, unassembled, with original packaging, you may return it within 45 (forty-five) days of receiving a shipment. Returns received more than 45 (forty-five) calendar days after shipment date will not be accepted. You couldn’t return new custom orders.

A 20% restocking fee will apply to all doors/slab orders.

Step 1.

To return items for an exchange or refund please contact your sales representative or call us (754) 900-5169. After receiving your request, we will start a return process with you.

Step 2.

Fill in “Return of Merchandise Authorization Form” and send it to your Valusso Design LLC sales representative. Authorization from Valusso Design LLC is required prior to the return of any items.

Step 3.

You should re-pack items for return in the original box with original packaging material and shipping items back to the warehouse address provided.

  • Customer is responsible for making all arrangements associated with the return of your merchandise.
  • Items must be received back in their original and unused condition.
  • Any and all related parts and assembly instructions received must be included with the item.
  • Any damages or missing parts that are determined once your item is received back will be assessed and deducted from your refund, so please be sure to repackage your items safely and securely.

Step 4.

Your items will be inspected when it has safely arrived at our manufacturer’s facility. If all the merchandise is in proper condition, we will start the procedure for refunding.

Step 5.

We will refund you within around 4 (four) weeks from the date you decide make the return of the order and let Valusso Design LLC know about your decision.

In most cases you will receive a refund sooner, but we estimate four-five weeks because of the time required for return shipping, product inspection, and processing from your bank or credit card company.

  • Refund you requested has been processed and should be reflected on your customer's statement in two to seven business days. Please note that business days do not include weekends or bank holidays.
  • Refunds issued for returned orders are credited back to the customer’s original payment method unless you selected to return for in-store credit.
  • Once your return is processed, we will send you an email with your refund details.
  • Exchanges, credits, and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws.

Damaged / defective return

Our items are well-packaged to withstand damage during shipping. While cases are extremely rare, damages do happen once in a while. We request the customers to inspect all the merchandise for concealed or any other damages or missed merchandise upon delivery.

  1. If items are damaged or suspected to be damaged, it must be documented "Bill of lading (BOL)" of the shipping company where you sign for the products upon delivery. The lead time for receiving products is 3 (three) business days after delivery.

Please note, never sign the BOL before examination of the order – it could have concealed damages and then you will have to note it in BOL of the shipping company.

If a driver does not give you time to examine the order please note like this – THE ORDER WAS NOT EXAMINED FOR CONCEALED DAMAGES BECAUSE OF THE DRIVER IN A HURRY.

If the BOL has been signed with no remarks, Valusso Design LLC will be not able to take your claim on damaged items.

  1. If you find any damages after an order arrival and remarks on that have been done in a BOL, then please notify us about that within 3 (three) business days with providing photos of damaged units (2-3 photos of each is necessary). In this case we give two options - whether to get the items that have been damaged again from Valusso Design LLC or get a refund for them. If you chose to get the items than it will take us up to 10 (ten) business days to produce your order and ship it to your location.

Valusso Design LLC refunds all shipping charges of damaged or defective merchandise:

  • Shipping damage
  • Product defect
  • Incorrect items
  • Missing parts
  1. If an order arrives damaged or incomplete or is in need of replacement parts, contact your sales representative or call us (754) 900-5169 within 3 (three) business days of receiving a shipment.
  2. If an order arrives damaged or incomplete and customer does not notify Valusso Design LLC within 3 (three) business days of receiving a shipment this is an acknowledgment of the following:
  • the merchandise has been delivered in satisfaction condition
  • freight company and Valusso Design LLC are released from all damage claims

Non-returnable and non-refundable items

  • Custom orders such as pre-hung doors, any orders with pre-cuts and/or special order doors by your requirements, after 2 (two) business days of placing the order.
  • Special purchases, including clearance items, custom quotes, inventory sales items, special discounts, gift cards
  • Any item that has been installed, modified or used in any way.
  • Any items marked “non-returnable” on the sale page.
  • Any item not accompanied by a Return of Material Authorization Number issued by Valusso Design LLC
  • Shipping costs and shipping and delivery charges in case of returns

Other return conditions

  • All items that are in process, but not shipped are subject to 20 % restocking fee.
  • Customer is responsible for returning all shipping charges.
  • Valusso Design LLC will not assume the transportation charges for any products returned by any transportation agency or company for products purchased through Valusso Design LLC.
  • If your order had “Free Shipping”, this is a one-way offer so if you return your order, our actual outbound shipping costs to you will be deducted from the refund.
